Can innovation bridge the partisan divide? The Coalition hosted a policy forum "Promoting the Innovation Economy," to address that issue as well as the need for tax reform that supports innovative, R&D-intensive small businesses.  The panelists' discussion successfully highlighted the need to simplify the tax code, the potential for comprehensive tax reform, and current legislative proposals that would increase investment in R&D, including the Start-up Jobs and Innovation Act (S. 1658).
